More than 50 physicians from various units specialized in ventilation across the country have attended the Ventilation Expert Workshop, the first expert workshop on mechanical ventilation ever held in Vietnam, jointly organized by HAMILTON MEDICAL AG and DMED, the exclusive distributor, on May 12, 2026, at the Pullman Saigon Centre Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.

The workshop is not only an opportunity to update our knowledge, but also a forum for us to explore together the four strategic pillars of modern respiratory critical care as following:

1. Respiratory Mechanics: When the Numbers Begin to “Speak”.
2. Automation: The Relationship Between the “Pilot” and the “Autopilot”.

DMED Medical Equipment Company Ltd.  together with TIMPEL Medical, we have successfully organized ADVANCED EIT WORKSHOP on December 12, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City & on December 13, 2024 in Hanoi.

The purpose of the workshop is to refresh knowledge and update the latest advances in EIT – a pioneering technology from Timpel Medical, exclusively distributed by DMED company in Vietnam.

In particular, at this workshop, we launched the new V/Q Tool on Timpel Medical’s ENLIGHT 2100, which was CE certified in September 2024. This tool helps evaluate the balance between lung ventilation and perfusion, providing a comprehensive perspective with detailed ventilation and perfusion maps.

In addition, Timpel Medical has also developed the PEEP Analysis feature, providing hyperdistention and collapse maps of the lungs, displayed on trend screens for each PEEP level. This advancement expands patient applications to both infants and neonates, instead of limiting it to adults & pediatrics before.

We are extremely honored to have the participation of Associate Professor Dr. Fernando Sipmann – a leading expert in ICU in general and EIT in particular. He was sharing his practical clinical applications and valuable experiences throughout this workshop.
